How does the Davis® Maths programme work?
The clients gain experience in using three mental tools that allow them to identify their triggering confusions and be able to control their natural response to it. For dyscalculics this may be the maths words as well as the maths symbols.
Having pinpointed the triggers the programme then provides the clients with a fail-safe way of permanently resolving those confusions using clay. In addition the programme allows the client to put in place any of the eleven basic maths concepts that may be missing.
From then the person will be able to learn Maths visually and then be able to use numerals on paper.
