Through this method, literacy can be achieved in a fun and multi-sensory way. The length of the programme is usually 25-30 hours during which time the parent or parent representative will spend a significant part of that time engaged with the facilitator and child. This will enable them to receive the necessary skills to support the child with the techniques when the programme has reached its conclusion.
Professional services described as Davis®, Davis Dyslexia Correction®, Davis Symbol Mastery®, Davis Orientation Counseling® and Davis Math Mastery® may only be provided by persons who are employed by a licensed Davis Specialist, or who are trained and licensed as Davis Facilitators by Davis Dyslexia Association International.
